What is meant by ‘presence simulation’?
When you’re on holiday, your smart home records your routines in advance. It then controls the lights and shutters so that the house looks lived-in from the outside – the best defence against burglars.
Will I be alerted on my smartphone if there’s an attempted break-in?
Yes. If door or window contacts or motion detectors are triggered whilst the alarm system is active, you will immediately receive a push notification, a text message or a phone call. At the same time, the house will switch on all the lights and raise the blinds.
Does the smart home also respond to hazards such as water or smoke?
Thanks to networked smoke and water detectors, the system alerts you immediately in the event of smoke or a burst pipe. It can even automatically shut off the main water valve to prevent further damage.
Can I integrate CCTV cameras?
Yes. Live feeds from your IP cameras can be integrated directly into the Sallegra app or onto the touch panels on the wall.
