What happens to my smart home if the internet goes down?
Your Satelco Smart Home will continue to work without any problems locally within your home. Buttons, automations and touch panels will respond as usual. The only thing that won’t be possible during the outage is remote control whilst you’re out and about.
Do I have to automate the whole house straight away whilst it’s being built?
No. The Sallegra system has a modular design. You can start with a basic set-up (e.g. just lighting and heating) and expand the system at any time later on.
How complicated is it to programme certain scenarios?
With the intuitive Sallegra interface, you, the user, can easily create and customise your own scenarios (e.g. ‘Leaving the house’: all lights off, alarm system on) without needing any programming knowledge.
Is my smart home safe from cyber-attacks?
As the Sallegra system operates locally and relies on tried-and-tested security standards and encrypted communication, it offers the highest level of protection against unauthorised external access.
