Combined motion, vibration and temperature sensor
Mission critical rooms and systems should be protected by installing sutiable sensors. Didactum offers the combined motion, vibration and temperature sensor for monitoring of important company infrastructures, for example, sensitive technical facilities and server rooms.
This combined sensor is simply connected via RJ-12 patch cable to one of the two CAN bus ports of the Didactum alarm systems. An external power supply unit is not required as this combined sensor is supplied with voltage from the monitoring appliance. A 2 m long connection cable is included in the scope of delivery. As an option you can place this combined sensor at a distance of up to 200 m from the Didactum monitoring appliance. If you need other motion and vibration sensors including a temperature sensor, you can connect them in series and thus monitor other rooms around-the-clock.
Combined temperature and humidity sensor
This sensor has been specifically developed for measurement of the two important environmental parameters temperature and relative humidity (RH). The sensor is part of the group of CAN Control Area Network) based sensors (and is compatible to all Didactum remote monitoring systems and PDU`s by.
This multi sensor temperature/humidity is simply connected to one of the two CAN bus ports of the Didactum Monitoring Systems 400/500/500-DC/600. This offers you a combined web thermometer and web hygrometer. The advantage is that the sensors integrated in the combined sensor have already been long-term factory calibrated (ISO/IEC 17025 Standard).
On request, this CAN bus based multi sensor can be placed at a distance of up to 300 m from the IP based measurement unit.
Combined smoke, temperature and humidity sensor
The important sensors for smoke, temperature and humidity have been integrated in this combined sensor. Possible wire mess due to cabling of many individual sensors thus is a thing of the past with this combined smoke, humidity and temperature sensor. The combined sensor unit for smoke, temperature and humidity is part of the CAN bus sensor group. Individual CAN bus sensors and CAN bus units are simply connected in series.
Each Didactum monitoring unit offers 2 CAN bus ports. Up to 8 CAN bus sensors and CAN bus unit per CAN bus can be connected in series. The length of each CAN bus chain may be up to 300 m, making you flexible in the installation of your room monitoring.
Cold storage temperature sensor
This temperature sensor is specifically designed for precise temperature control in refrigerated environments and detects temperature ranges from -40° C to +105° C. The sensor unit built in the housing is encapsulated in epoxy resin. The integrated chip of the cold storage temperature sensor is calibrated permanently in the factory. On request you can calibrate the cold storage temperature sensor with a calibrated thermometer in the web interface of Didactum IP measuring instrument.
Installation is easy: you simply have to plug the cold storage temperature sensor into one of the two CAN bus ports of the Didactum Monitoring System 400/500/500-CD/600. Up to 30 of these cold storage sensors per CAN (Control Area Network) bus can be connected in series via RJ-12 patch cable. The total length per CAN bus can be up to 220 m so that even large cold storage logistics centers can be reliably monitored for temperature.
Combined airflow and temperature sensor unit
The combined airflow and temperature sensor unit has been specifically developed for measurement of the temperature and monitoring of the airflow/cooling air. Use this unit to monitor you ventilation and air conditioning systems and ensure that your important server and network components are always properly cooled.
The sensor unit is simply connected via patch cable to one of the two CAN bus ports of the Didactum monitoring system. Up to 8 CAN bus sensors and CAN extension units per CAN bus can be connected in series. The admissible maximum length per CAN bus is 300 m.
Combined rack monitoring sensor unit
This rack monitoring sensor unit is part of the CAN bus sensors group and has been specifically developed for 24x7 monitoring of technical facilities and server cabinets. This compact sensor unit integrates a passive infrared sensor, two inputs for potential-free contacts as well as a humidity sensor. The sensor unit is simply connected to one of the two CAN bus ports of your Didactum measurement and monitoring device. Up to 8 CAN bus sensors and CAN bus units per CAN bus can be connected in series. The length of each CAN bus Strang can be up to 300 m.
