Didactum temperature sensor
This SNMP capable sensor has been specifically developed for accurate measurement of temperature and is compatible to all TCP/IP based Didactum alarm systems.
Thanks to the Autosense function the temperature sensor is automatically detected by the Didactum monitoring system and displayed in the web interface. After you connected to the Didactum network device via web browser, you can name the sensor according to your specifications and define individual limit and threshold alarm values for deviations from the nominal temperature. You define from which critical temperature value the employees in charge shall be alerted by e-mail or SMS (GSM modem required). The currently measured temperature value can also be transmitted via macro function! All events occurred are stored in the Syslog of the Didactum monitoring system. If you use a building or network management system (Nagios, OpenNMS, etc.), you can also send alarms via SNMP trap.
Didactum outdoor temperature sensor
The outdoor temperature sensor by Didactum has been specifically developed for outdoor temperature measurement. This sensor is weather-proof and compatible with all network based Didactum measurement and alarm systems.
The cable length of the temperature sensor for measurement of outdoor temperatures is 15 m. Optionally this weather-proof sensor can be placed at a distance of up to 100 m from the Didactum monitoring unit and the Didactum sensor extension unit.
Didactum combined temperature and airflow sensor
This combined sensor has been specifically developed for measurement of temperature and monitoring of airflow/cooling air and is ONLY suitable for connection to the Didactum airflow and temperature sensor unit. Simply unpack the sensor and plug in the plug in the sensor unit – ready to go.
Monitor the airflow which is necessary for cooling your sensitive IT systems. With this combined Didactum sensor you can monitor the proper functioning of your ventilation units/fans in the technical facilities or server cabinet around-the-clock.
Didactum humidity sensor
This accurate sensor is used for measuring the important environmental factor relative humidity and is compatible with all TCP/IP based Didactum alarm systems. The humidity senor is automatically detected via Autosense function and displayed in the web interface of the Didactum monitoring systems where you can define the limit and alarm levels and get alerted via e-mail, SMS (GSM modem required) or SNMP trap. Optionally the weatherproof sensor can be placed at distances of up to 50 m from the Didactum monitoring device and Didactum sensor extension unit.
Didactum water sensor
The SNMP capable Didactum water sensor detects water and aqueous fluids. In case of average, leakage and condensation water spill, you will be reliably alerted by the Didactum monitoring unit.
Didactum water sensor for water message chain and Didactum water message chain
This SNMP capable water sensor is specifically manufactured for the Didactum water message chain. A leakage detection cable with individual lengths of 1 to 50 m is connected to the sensor unit.The water sensor is connected with the Didactum IT alarm system via a RJ-12 patch cable. Optionally the sensor unit can be placed at a distance of up to 100 m. Thanks to the tried and proven Didactum Autosense function the sensor unit is automatically displayed in the web interface where you can define how you want to be notified in case of water leakage/average.
The Didactum water message chain has been specifically developed for the reliable detection of water and condensation water and is available in lengths of 1 to 50 m. Leakage of water/ condensate / humidity is detected all along the chain. The water message chain is simply inserted in the false floor of the data center or server room. Then you connect the leakage cable with the Didactum water sensor for water message chains that has to be ordered separately.
Didactum vibration sensor
The vibration sensor has been specifically developed for the Didactum alarm and monitoring system and is used for recording shocks and vibrations. Also so-called jolting and drilling on surfaces is detected by this shock/vibration sensor and immediately transmitted to the Didactum monitoring device. Get alerted in case of an alarm by e-mail or SMS (GSM modem required) by the Didactum alarm system. As the sensor can be cascaded, individual shock sensors can be connected in series and thus monitor larger rooms and plants.
Didactum smoke sensor
The smoke sensor offered by Didactum has been specifically developed for early detection of fire/smoke and is compatible with all Didactum alarm systems. On request, several of these Didactum smoke sensors can be connected in series. Equip other important company rooms (e.g. archives or depots) with smoke sensors.
Didactum motion sensor
Sensitive rooms and systems such as technical facilities and server rooms should be monitored around-the-clock. This also applies to important company rooms in distant branches.
With the motion sensor by Didactum you can detect and log all movements/presences in sensitive rooms reliably. It is compatible with all IP based Didactum monitoring systems. The integrated passive infrared sensor offers a range of up to range of 12 m at an angle of 110°. This sensor can be placed at a distance of up to 50 m from the Didactum monitoring unit.
Didactum alarm siren with flashlight
The Didactum alarm siren with integrated strobe light is used wherever a reliable, audible and optical alarm is required. By using this siren an acoustic and optical warning can be promptly output. This is reasonable among other things in case of imminent danger or threat.
Didactum flashing light
The Didactum flashing light has been specifically developed for the IP supported Didactum monitoring systems for 24x7x365 environment, safety and current monitoring. A high-performance LED strobe light is integrated in this warning light, which signals the optical alarm. The visual alarm can be triggered manually or through the sensors connected to the Didactum monitoring device.
Didactum door contact sensor
Protect your important rooms/cabinets against unauthorised access: The SNMP capable door contact sensor, also called magnetic contact, is used for reliable monitoring of windows, doors, cabinets, etc. As soon as the door of the rack is opened, you will be informed by e-mail, SMS (GSM modem required) or by SNMP trap. This sensor can also be connected in series on request and thus reliably monitor several doors/cabinets.
Didactum DC sensor
This sensor has been specifically developed for network based monitoring of direct current and is compatible with all Didactum measurement and alarm systems. This IP based direct current sensor can measure direct current in the range of 0 to 60 VDC. The measuring accuracy is +/- 1%. On request you can place this DC sensor at a distance of up to 50 m from the Ethernet based Didactum measurement device.
Didactum AC sensor
The Didactum AC sensor has been specifically developed for network supported monitoring of current. This sensor is compatible with all Didactum monitoring systems.
4-20 mAmp converter for Didactum monitoring systems
This 4-20 mAmp measuring converter has been specifically developed for the TCP/IP based Didactum measurement and alarm systems. With these measuring converter you can integrate exiting sensors in the SNMP based 24/7/365 monitoring of the Didactum alarm systems.
Didactum airflow sensor for dry contact assembly
Protect your important IT systems against failure of the air circulation required for cooling: The airflow sensor in connected to the Didactum monitoring system via 2-wire cable (length 50 cm) to the dry contact module (available as an option). The connection cable can be optionally extended, so that also larger distances are possible.

Didactum infrared light barrier for interior Areas for dry contact assembly
The Didactum infrared light barrier can be used for safeguarding of entrance areas, windows, doors, gates, glass fronts, rack units and also for glass roofs and domes. If a larger number of Didactum infrared light barriers is used, also walls and ceilings can be protected against break-in/burglary. Use the Didactum light barrier also to protect suites of server racks and cabinets in computer rooms, server rooms and data centers. The Didactum infrared light barrier is easy to install and offers safe detection of access, trapdoor or penetration. The Didactum infrared light barrier is protected against unauthorised opening by means of tamper protection.
Didactum smoke detector with relay module for dry contact assembly
Dieser intelligente Rauchwarnmelder zählt zur Gruppe der optischen Rauchmelder und funktioniert nach dem Prinzip von Streulicht. Didactum multi-sensor for early detection of the outbreak of fire for dry contact assembly
The multi-sensor for early detection of fire is also equipped with an optical sensor (scattered light principle) as well as with a thermal rate-of-rise detector. This way smoke escaping due to open fire or smouldering fire can be detected early on. As a fire also becomes noticeable through a fast and at the same time high temperature development, the fire can also be detected through the integrated thermal sensors. The operating reliability of the detector is enabled through the evaluation functions for the measuring chamber and temperature signal integrated in the multi-sensor.
Didactum thermal fire detector for dry contact assembly
This automatic fire detector in limit monitoring technology has been specifically developed for early detection of fire. It is used wherever the use of optical smoke detectors is not reasonable due to high dust concentration in the air, high airflow/air circulation or high humidity (condensation). The functionality of this thermal fire detector in limit monitoring technology is based on the principle of temperature increase and exceeding the temperature limit value.
